Gel electrolyte immobilizes acid in silica, dramatically slowing water loss and corrosion at high ambient temperatures — gel batteries typically outlast AGM 2:1 in 35°C+ environments.

OPzV is the tubular-plate gel design (DIN standard) for 20-year stationary applications. We produce OPzV 2V cells from 200Ah to 3000Ah for utility projects.
